Today's episode was inspired by hearing someone say "I can't just relax on command" when learning a mindfulness practice.

Yeah, of course not, and that's not what mindfulness is.

In this episode you'll hear what mindfulness is, or my interpretation of it anyway, and some of the things that make it difficult.

\\xa0You'll also learn my go to mindfulness practice to begin noticing what messages your body and brain are sending so you can notice, press pause, and learn to respond in a way that is useful rather than react from autopilot and dysregulation.
