In this episode, Jennifer Bassman exposes the dangers of toxic workplace environments and the ways that we can experiencing burnout, the symptoms to be aware of, the damaging side effects, and the importance of establishing boundaries. Burnout is one of the most common mental health issues that a majority of us are experiencing. Jennifer is open and honest as she shares her own personal experience of burnout and how it has transformed her into being the burnout and boundary specialist she is today. While sharing tips and tricks of how to establish boundaries, Jen stresses the importance of identifying our strengths and ways to pinpoint where we should be placing our attention and efforts. 

Before diving into today’s interview, Shannon shares the intense experience she had with an anxiety attack this week. Coincidentally, just like today’s conversation with Jennifer, Shannon had to establish a boundary with someone close to her of what is a trigger for her anxiety. Shannon shares the importance she has found in setting boundaries in our personal lives and what positive outcomes can result from this powerful form of communication.
