Love yourself and be kind to yourself! Do you make sure to find some me time and practice self-love throughout the week? Throughout the day? HOLD UP. Before we even ask that, can we please clarify what even is me time and self-love? Is it watching reality TV with a glass of wine and scrolling mindlessly through social media? No that is actually “vegging out”.. a common misunderstanding. (No worries) Let’s clarify what self-love and me time is so that we don’t feel awful about ourselves for the times that we are vegging out because let’s be honest, we all love a good veg out session! In this episode, Shannon discusses the different ways that she practices me time and self love throughout her journey. Shannon shares the benefits and different ways that we can exercise me time daily through journaling, meditation, visualizations, and affirmations. While sharing some of her best tips and tricks in this week’s episode, Shannon also gets a little silly as she discusses some of the different ways the universe has been testing her this past week on her journey.
