Today we talked about playing the patient long game or being a bit less patient and thoughtful and the differences between each in these three categories:

  1. Vision
  2. Rewards\\xa0
  3. Network

Here's the interview I did on the Run Your Day Podcast if you're interested! I really enjoyed being on his show: Run Your Day with Dan Hafner - Ep. 309: Dallin Candland - The Game You'll Never Win...

When you work on the long game you get that long term vision. Looking ahead is wise and helps you keep going strong.

When you work on the short game you have short term vision. This is good but it is not sustainable if you want to build something that will last - like momentum or continued growth.

I am planning on stopping my little personal Thursday episodes after episode 100 come April.

It is insane to me that we would be hitting that crazy number come April!

For now I anticipate that this would be wise, especially if I want to continue to improve the podcast

I could see myself having another podcast or something down the line but right now that just wouldn\\u2019t really make any sense.

I am still in college, trying to figure out my value.

I need to nail the Yield Today podcast before I can even think of creating another one

And that is why I am taking this strategic step back.

Doing the extra personal episodes has been a thrill, and I know that people have been enjoying them.

But it takes time.

Time I could be spending improving the podcast overall or doing more social media, guest outreach, podcast appearances, etc.

It is quite inspiring to me that we have been able to keep it up for this long though.

I had no idea we would be able to handle putting out two episodes a week.

It turns out that I can, if I really plan ahead and make it work.

That has gone well for a while but after episode 100 I would really like to have the formula and all that stuff figured out.
