I recently finished up my internship at Stukent. The experience provided a ton of momentum and growth for me and I am anxious as to how to move forward from here. I decided to go on a walk with this as the main question in my mind.

I came back with some solid gems of thought to ponder on and learn from. I wanted to share them with you in case these were some messages that could be useful for you too.

1. "Don't wish for another timeline." - It is easy to compare our current lives to where we could possibly be if we had just done X or talked to Y. Sure, it is interesting to do so, but we need to make sure we take the energy from that thinking and transfer it into power to help out our current selves. If we do not do this we have, in a way, wasted that thinking power.

The main thought with this is that some of the most important decisions of my life I have already made, and I am thankful I am where I'm at now. If I hadn't started a YouTube channel with my friends back in 2012 maybe I wouldn't have gotten into podcasting.... we just don't know. In this timeline I am assured that I am alive and although things are pretty chill, I am still here and I am thankful for that.

2. "You just struck gold, why abandon the mine?" - This comes from an Adventures of The Book of Virtues episode. It came to mind completely out of that context, and I have been pondering on it since then. What I have gathered from pondering it is that I have dug SUPER deep in some parts of my life, and then not mined some of the gold that I found.

This really is a powerful thought to me that for the networks, opportunities, and things I will do tomorrow I need to make sure I gather as much gold and learning as I can from those mines before they are closed up, and thus become only a memory, not something I am living in anymore.

3. "I can plan a process and stick to it." - As I look back at my life the times where I was the happiest were when I was following a process or some kind of map that I had created for myself towards some desired end.\\xa0

Over the last few months I have made some big steps but they have not felt as empowering as I didn't have them in the scheme of a bigger plan for my overall growth. The most powerful thing with this for me is that I already have proof that I can create a plan and stick to it. The trick now is to come up with one that will truly help me here to venture from this moment and so on from here.
