Carry The Chicken
Hazing has faded in the NFL yet there are certain rights of passage that exist for veterans to accept rookies. Carrying the helmet and pads for the veterans is an example. In the dining room after practice and before film study, vets also expect rookies to tend to their food trays. They have to “carry the chicken”. Here's a story about a Raven who refused and it cost him dearly.
