In 1967, then Kentucky Governor Ned Breathitt requested all communities have a special event to commemorate the Commonwealth's 175th year. Paducah held the first Summer Festival and the community has been celebrating every year since. Tomorrow begins the 2009 Paducah Summer Festival near the city's downtown. To give us an idea about what's different this year, Angela Hatton talks to Festival Board Chair Teresa Jeffrey.
