Representatives from Murray State, the Murray Art Guild, Playhouse in the Park, and other community groups in Calloway County met last month to consider plans for a Murray-Calloway arts center. The group's draft mission statement says it would be a "cultural platform" for arts education and performance. Todd Hatton spoke with a member of that initial group, Murray Art Guild Executive Director Debi Danielson, to get an idea of what such a center could look like.
