In the late 1970's, The Runaways turned record industry expectations of all-female bands on their heads. Now, the band that produced Joan Jett and Lita Ford is the subject of a new biopic. Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame and Dakota Fanning star as Joan Jett and lead singer Cherie Currie in The Runaways, the Jett-produced film based on Currie's memoirs. Larry Thomas and Todd Hatton talk about the movie, playing this week at Maiden Alley Cinema in Paducah.
