b"Fried Apple Pork Chops\\n\\nWhat You Will Need:\\n\\nmeasuring spoons\\na bottle opener\\na can opener\\nA large non-stick skillet\\na skewer\\ncooking spoons\\npaper towels\\n\\nIngredients:\\n\\n4 bone-in center-cut pork loin chops (about 2 3/4 pounds)\\n\\xbd teaspoon of salt\\n\\xbd teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper\\n2 tablespoons of canola oil\\n\\xbd cup of apple cider\\n1 (15 ounce) can of fried apples\\n2 tablespoons of butter\\nHot cooked rice, optional\\nFresh thyme leaves, for garnish\\n\\nCooking Directions:\\n\\nSprinkle pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper. \\nHeat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. \\nAdd the pork chops; \\ncook for 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. \\nRemove the pork chops from the pan; \\nkeep warm. \\nAdd the apple cider to the pan; \\nreduce the heat to low. \\nCook for 30 seconds, \\nstirring to loosen the browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. \\nReturn the pork chops to the skillet. \\nAdd the fried apples. \\nCook for 2 minutes, \\nor until the apples are thoroughly heated, \\nbreaking up the apples with a spoon during cooking. \\nStir in the butter until melted. \\nServe pork chops with sauce. \\nServe over hot cooked rice, if desired. \\nGarnish with thyme leaves.\\nMakes 4 servings.\\n\\nHints and Tips for the Kitchen:\\n\\nWashing Dishes:\\n\\n* To quickly remove food that's stuck to enamelware or to a casserole dish, fill with boiling water and add 2 tablespoons of baking soda.\\n* Remember, when loading your dishwasher, be sure that the silver and the stainless steel do not touch each other, as pitting may occur.\\n\\nCaring for Copper Pots:\\n\\n* Try toothpaste.\\n* Dip lemon halves (after the juice has been extracted) in salt and rub.
