b"Beef Stroganoff\\n\\nWhat You Will Need:\\n\\nMeasuring cups\\nmeasuring spoons\\nA kitchen chef's knife\\nA can opener\\na bottle opener\\na shallow dish\\na non-stick skillet\\ncooking spoons\\na skewer\\npaper towels\\n\\nIngredients:\\n\\n\\xbc cup of all-purpose flour\\n1 teaspoon of salt\\n1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper\\n2 pounds of top sirloin steak, cut into thin slices\\n3 tablespoons of olive oil\\n1 cup of beef broth\\n2 tablespoons of tomato paste\\n1 (10\\xbd of ounce) can of condensed beefy mushroom soup\\n1 (8 ounce) container of sour cream\\nHot cooked egg noodles, optional\\n\\nCooking Directions:\\n\\nCombine flour, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. \\nDredge beef in flour mixture, shaking off excess. \\nHeat 1 and a half tablespoons of oil in a large non-stick skillet over a high heat. \\nAdd half of the steak; \\ncook, stirring often, For 6 minutes, or until steak is browned. \\nRemove steak from the skillet. \\nRepeat the process with the remaining 1 and a half tablespoons of oil and the remaining half of the steak. \\nAdd broth, tomato paste and soup. \\nCook for 1 minute, \\nwhisking to loosen browned bits from bottom of skillet. \\nReturn the beef to the skillet; \\ncover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until the meat is tender \\nand the sauce is slightly thickened, \\nstirring occasionally. \\nRemove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. \\nStir in sour cream. \\nServe over hot cooked egg noodles or rice, if desired.\\n\\nMakes 6 servings.\\n\\nHints and Tips for the Kitchen:\\n\\nHave some Broken Glass?\\n\\n* Use a dampened paper towel or cotton ball to pick up all slivers of glass.\\n\\nHave a Burnt Pan?\\n\\n* Fill pan immediately with cold water (for starchy foods and milk) or hot water. (for greasy foods) Soak for an hour or so.\\n* Sprinkle burnt pots liberally with baking soda, adding just enough water to moisten. Let stand for several hours.
