b'LGBTQ rights have come a long way since the 1960’s, to the point where same sex conversations can occur and no one bats an eye, but in some instances, certain discussions are still stuck in the Jurassic period regarding LGBTQ rights.

Case in point, trans-gender rights, especially when talking about trans-gender people participating in school sports. Many states are attempting to enact laws that prohibit trans persons from being a part of school sports, and keeping them unable to join team sports for competition, or for enjoyment. People have to wonder if the lack of comfortability with trans persons joining sports programs are in the participants of such sports, or if it is simply the adults who don’t even participate in those sports who are thinking this way.

Should a trans boy be able to play on a girl’s wrestling team?

Should a trans girl be allowed to participate in boy’s football or boy’s soccer?

Join our panel, on Saturday, 4:00 pm (EST), 1:00 pm (PST), 9:00 pm (GMT), as they discuss topical news items of importance from a blind perspective.

The Blind Perspective is an interactive show, allowing for the participation of the audience.
