True humility consists of two things

“True humility, we believe, consists of two things. The first is knowing our limitations. And the second is getting the help we need.”

Not everyone necessarily wants humility, but humility is ultimately about maturity. Why? Because like knowledge, the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know. Many men who still act like boys in grown up clothes, certainly don’t want to know or accept their limitations. Even when it is painfully clear what some of these limitations are, the idea of getting help for them is a huge leap. The ones who need help the very most are likely the ones who will never pursue it.

This podcast focuses on self-exploration and personal identity -- to help you construct who you are, and how you want to feel, think, believe, and behave for yourself. The book Who Do You Think You Are is also available at all major e-retailers, and you can find it at bigselfschool.com/store. Check out our two-hour classes on how to build resiliency, how to discover what you want, how to like yourself more, how to find calm, how to bounce forward after failure, and many more at bigselfschool.com.
