Look at the center of you

“But those things aren’t you. They are just things about you, not the real, the core you. Look at the center of you. What do you want to change there?”

It’s not easy to just “look at the center of you,” much less to see yourself so clearly without blindspots so that you can answer the question of what you would change once you do. That is why this quote is a challenge. It’s implied that it’s hard to do, but it’s also implied that it is essential that you perform the necessary tasks to in fact look at yourself for who you are. It’s essential that we can continue to ask ourselves what we’d like to change.

This podcast focuses on self-exploration and personal identity -- to help you construct who you are, and how you want to feel, think, believe, and behave for yourself. Check out our gratitude challenge for the month of November at bigselfschool.com/gratitude.
