The spiritual leader and educator known worldwide as Amma received an honorary doctorate in Human Letters from UB yesterday. The woman who is also called the "Hugging Saint" is chancellor of Amrita [Ahm-RIT-tah] University With her help, UB is able offer dual masters degree programs with Amrita in Bangalore.
