Mia is a native Miamian who studied and performed improv comedy at Just the Funny Theater for almost a decade. Mia knew she wanted to act in front of the camera after she fell in love with being on set performing background work on a Hollywood feature. Over the past few years, she earned a very favorable reputation in the Miami film community after appearing in several short films. Mia also produced and starred in her own short film "The Wrong Door" based on her life as a domestic violence survivor. She made the move to Atlanta earlier this year in hopes of furthering her career as an actor. She is also working on her series "Late Bloomer" also based on her life - coming out of the closet in middle age while raising three teenage children.
