Pioneering Radio Station WGY Celebrates 100th Anniversary

In this episode of Upstate Issues, Chris Hunter, Vice President of Collections and Exhibitions at miSci talks about the historical significance of WGY on Schenectady, New York and the world as one of the original commercially licensed broadcast stations. Hunter talks about some of the \\u201cfirsts\\u201d that have been attributed to the station as well as some of the technology that originated at General Electric in Schenectady.
