(I know, I am the only one who has ever experienced this, so I guess I am writing this article to myself.) (Deuteronomy 32:35) \\u201cVengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly\\u201d I want to give you three reasons why vengeance is the Lord\\u2019s and why we should not seek revenge. 1. We find it difficult to separate vengeance and anger 2. God\\u2019s vengeance is not reckless; it is often redemptive 3. God\\u2019s vengeance does not come from the seat of revenge, but the seat of justice.
