Fathers, Husbands, Inventors, Book writers, and all around jokesters talk Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Two Marine Dads dives into the problems Marines and others vets far when coming back to civilian life.  How do you go from having the final word in your MOS or unit to not being qualified to order port-o-jons for a construction site?  Its frustrating for many vets, and especially frustrating to Marines.  What people call brotherhood and esprit de corps in the civilian world has a COMPLETELY different meaning to Marines.  A fraternity or sorority membership is a start, but falls way short when compared to what we experienced in the Marine Corps, Army, Navy coast guard, and Air-force.  The only other jobs in the US that can even compare to that connection and love you have for your brother or sister are Police, Fire Fighters and EMT's and many of them ARE vets.    2md discusses these issues and many more.  We share, along with special guest, friend and colleague Mike Flynn our personal hardships and how we overcame them.  Mike has introduced us to the Marine Corps League and many other organizations that are available to help vets across the country.     Vets including 2 Marine Dads face many hardships that are unseen by civilians across the spectrum, everything from homelessness, to suicide to hardships associated with fitting in on the job. This episode is learned to help vets understand YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
