Robin Hutcheson, President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, was easily confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Sept. 22. The nominee, currently managing the agency in an acting capacity, was confirmed by a unanimous consent vote. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a member of the Commerce Committee on freight policy, announced her confirmation on the floor of the chamber.
