She’s best-known for winning “MasterChef: Season 3” with Gordon Ramsey in 2012.

Then, she went on to write the New York Times-best-selling cookbook “Recipes from My Home Kitchen: Asia and American Comfort Food.”

She’s also the owner of two restaurants: The Blind Goat and Xin Chao, which she opened during the pandemic.

And she’s from Houston, Texas!
