I've been agonizing about how to approach the current state of affairs in the United States. I've spent week pouring over data, stats, listening to experts and commentators, trying to find "answers" and the more I look the less sure I am of anything besides this conversation is far more nuanced than I thought. I do know that not many are offering solutions to the problem of police brutality and abuse of power, or proposing ways to unite our communities instead of divide them. I'm not an expert, so here are some possible solutions from others who are that can bring some productivity back to our discussions of how to make our nation a better and safer place for everyone.
