Here the Beckies, talk about levels of engagement in play, What is it ? Why does is matter ?
How do we help children to become deeply engaged?\\xa0 What does a child look like when they are in their highest state of learning?
It is not for us to change and create play, wait for your invite.
The children are actually building their brains and their foundations for the future.
How can the early years environment help to enable deep engagement in play.
Think about how you feel as an adult when you are very busy and you get disturbed and have to step away from a project. Think about natural endings to play which make sense to the child.
One of the most important foundations we are building with children, is for them to be life long independent learners
