No "New Year, New You" Because Thriving is a Lifestyle

Published: Jan. 1, 2019, 11:37 a.m.

When I hear "New Year, New Me", it reminds me how our culture is focused on instant gratification, quick results and "overnight success". Instead of focusing on changing to a "new you" overnight, focus on the gradual progress of always changing, evolving and growing throughout the year. Focus on the small steps you take every day and the good habits you put into place consistently.

Remember that most "diets" don't work long term unless you integrate it into a sustainable lifestyle change. Shift your mindset to one of consistent growth and learning, of evolving and up leveling who you are (mind, body and soul) each and every day.

Truly THRIVING is a lifestyle. It is a mindset and state of being.
