Think Hope in the Aftermath of Hurricane Michael

Dr. Rosalind Tompkins shares how thinking hope helped her and others to survive the deadly Category 4 Hurricane Michael that hit the Panhandle of Florida on October 10, 2018.  There were at least 26 people killed during this mammoth hurricane. "When I heard about Hurricane Michael heading our way, I had just come from a week on the beach (St. George Island) celebrating by birthday and the first thing I thought was, "Thank God it wasn’t last week." My next thought was, "Oh boy here we go again!" As we listened and prepared for the worst, I couldn’t help thinking the best and even though we were doing everything to prepare; getting water, food, batteries, checking on family and congregants, making sure everybody was okay, I just kept thinking, "It’s going to be alright."  "We are going to make it through."
