Hope Chat with Aaronetta Frison
It is April, the National Month of Hope and Mothers In Crisis is proclaiming and celebrating by presenting HOPEE (Helping Others Practice Enduring Empowerment) Awards again this year including post humous awards. Hopeologist Rosalind Tompkins has a hope chat with Aaronetta Frison, daughter of posthumous HOPEE Awardee, Rev. Dr. Bernyce Clausell. Reverend Bernyce Hall Clausell was born November 19, 1916 in Thomson, GA, in 1958 she and her husband organized Calvary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL where she pastored for 18 years. Under her pastorate, the church became a community-based church with many outreach projects that made local and national history. She was known as the "Black Mother Teresa" and the "State Mother of Prisons." Rev. Bernyce Clausell passed on to the other side of eternity in 2015. Rev. Bernyce Clausell, the author of the book, "No Time To Die", was a staple, stalwart, steadfast, and consummate community servant in the fields of education, religion, equality, and justice, standing in the gap, in the trenches, and putting herself on the line for humanity, while proclaiming God's goodness for mankind.
