The boat is Wind Ketcher, a classic, Tom Gilmer-designed, 1976 Allied Seawind ketch with an Atlantic crossing under her keel. A blue water beauty, Wind Ketcher glistens and gleams across the waves, dancing with the wind to the melodies composed and performed by her skipper, professional musician, Ed Verner. Award-winning cinematographer, Steve Seckar captures the sailing from on board, the sky above. the sea and just about every angle in-between. Over the course of the voyage, we sail through fair weather and squalls, the music and narrative matching the moods of the sea on each tack. Returning to port in the golden glow of a Florida sunset, our dance with the wind ends but the video leaves us yearning for more.
