Mark is founder of Vertical Veg, an initiative that inspires and supports growing food in containers in small urban spaces (balconies, patios etc). Mark grew over $1,300 worth of food in one year on his small balcony and windowsills in London. He loves growing his own food, and is on a mission to promote the many health, community and environmental benefits of growing in containers at home. He runs workshops on food growing in containers, a website and an online club for container gardeners.
