Robert Mueller Holds Press Conference To Summarize His Report On The Russian Investigation

Robert Mueller holds press conference. Shares a summation of the Mueller Report. Resigns from Department of Justice. Begins by framing the purpose of the investigation and discussing what predicated it. Insufficient evidence to recommend charges against Trump. Says his team would have exonerated if he had enough evidence to do so - whatever that would've looked like. Adds that he never would've indicted a sitting president. Sure would've been good if this sort of information was stated upfront. Instead, we had 2-1/2 years of insanity reported, leaving many Americans wondering if President Trump would've been ushered out of the White House in handcuffs. This is soley an impeachment document - and we'll see what Pelosi and Democrats decide to do with it, especially in light of what we discussed on this program both yesterday and Tuesday.
