Treasure Found in the Temple, Friday
Have you ever lost something that was really important to you? Sometimes an item is lost, but you don't know it's lost until you find it! Sometimes when I get my winter clothes out, I'll find money in my pocket! This week we're learning about King Josiah who paid workers to help clean out and clean up the temple. As they were getting the money to pay the workers, they discovered the Book of the Law! It was a day of rejoicing. As Josiah read from the book, he realized that God's people were not following or obeying Him and he determined to help his people turn back to God!
