Defensive Gun Training:\\xa0How to find a range where you can practice REALISTIC skills.

I always end Safety Solutions Academy courses with a debrief session. \\xa0I ask my students to provide feedback on the course or, ask questions that they are wondering about so that we have one last opportunity to discuss class related issues as a group.

One of the questions that is asked with and incurable frequency is, "Where can I practice the skills we just learned?"

It is a great question and an issue that I have struggled with as a defensive shooter and a professional defensive firearms instructor.

Over the years I have found some success in either helping to coach the facilities I use toward more practical firearms training or when that isn\'t possible finding a new facility to either conduct realistic practice for myself, or, high quality, realistic, defensive training for Safety Solutions Academy.
