He also talked about what it was like to collaborate with Kurt Cobain, who was known for his capricious genius, and about stepping out from behind the drums to lead his own band. \\u201cAfter Kurt died, I was, like, I\\u2019m not playing music anymore\\u2014it\\u2019s too painful,\\u201d he remembered. \\u201cAnd then I eventually realized that if music saved my life, my entire life, this is what\\u2019s going to save my life again.\\u201d\\nThis segment was originally aired November 26, 2021.'
