Rockets Head Coach Ime Udoka Previews Trail Blazers Matchup
b'Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka joins The Matt Thomas Show to preview the Rockets taking on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight at the Toyota Center. After playing back-to-back games over the weekend which resulted in injuries, key members are returning to the starting lineup, including Fred VanVleet, Jabari Smith Jr. and Jeff Green. Udoka spends a little time teasing Green about his age and the fact that they used to play each other. Green is "looking young as ever." Due to injuries, younger players, such as Cam Whitmore, have gained more playing time. "There\'s nothing like experience out on the court." The Trail Blazers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday after a controversial ending involving head coach Chauncey Billups attempting to call a timeout but the refs did not stop play. The Blazers filed protest with NBA, but Udoka says the Rockets are not underestimating a team that could be playing with a little bit more motivation. "They played well against a top team in the west."'
