The Jan 11 Taiwan election: people standing up to the CCP. In Hong Kong much self-quarantining; impossible to buy masks; schools postponed till mid-April at earliest (more likely June), and I’d strongly guess that the Olympics will be cancelled. All this has created even more anti-Mainland sentiment. Carrie Lam has forced the borders between HK and Mainland to stay open – extremely dangerous and is enraging Hong Kong citizens.
