China  has been a leading country in trials.  Neither of the two main Chinese firms will release informant about the trials; lack of transparency, much concern. The local cultures are apprehensive to start; secrecy is not helping.  In Bogota: Colombia decided to follow an early-access alliance.  Today, over 180 countries have joined this strategy, Colombia will get 20 million doses. Our 50 million population  . . .  In the US, grave concern about safety.  Same in South America.   Lots of Andean culture rejects vaccines and Western medicine, in general.  Because of the extent of the virus, many may choose the vaccine simply to be able to return to work. In Colombia, most of those who’ve died are poor.   New World The Vaccine in South America  https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/14/world/americas/brazil-coronavirus-vaccine.html
