During those 44 days, all the residents here lived live as normally. Every singer day our city was attacked by Armenian forces, shelled us daily, continuously. Almost 2,000 shells land on our district daily.  More than 6,000 missiles were launched on our district.  More than 83 residential buildings and 2,500 private homes were damaged.  About 40 public bldgs, and 70 business bldgs and 25 administrative bldgs, and 11 cemeteries were damaged. We explained this to the children: all residents of Tartar, including elderly and children, coalesced around  our president. We granted him all our support.  Seventeen civilians killed, 60 wounded.  Many moved into the basement and lived life there.    We heard news of the prosecution of the war in the basements. Restoration process is already under way.  Just outside where we are is a grim line-up of rockets and warheads.
