Drawdowns of inventory.  Samsonite is an example: travel bans and tariffs haven’t hit it very hard, so it has an inventory shortage.  Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Not yet highly value-added product (electronics), but soon.  China has excellent infrastructure for trade; smaller countries are trying to compete. South Korea has it for TV panels and smart phone production.   With Biden coming to the table as a new entity . . .   China’s water is contaminated. ADM: corn, wheat, sorghum. US has to get better at bldg trade relations that are favorable two ways, not just one-sided.         Pandemic gives us a chance to create major changes.  There are still fundamental challenges around intellectual property and fair trade.  Global trade will have a very good year.
