Beijing has swallowed Hong Kong, going full-Tibet. US needs to offer asylum to Hong Kongers, who now face being kidnapped into Mainland, tortured, and disappeared. Can they exit? They may not. It may be too late for many; but those travelling in Europe or the US, take them in! First there was cajoling, then warnings, now the boot. Xi Jinping believes he can do whatever he wants and the rest of the world will not impose costs on him. He doesn't seem to think he needs allies. China has underestimated the power of worldwide popular opinion. American businessmen are not safe to go to Hong Kong or China. Xi is willing to destroy Hong Kong in order to control it.
