Biden announced in the last debate that he’d bring an end to the oil industry—probably a shock to Texas and Pennsylvania. Progressives got their ears pinned back. No tax hike, free college, green new deal—none of these is accepted; even if Biden is elected, he has no mandate to do these, and he can’t carry through on his promises.
