My friend lost both parents and parents-in-law in nursing homes that were ordered by Cuomo to accept covid patients. Now, tens of thousands are dead, plus an alleged cover-up. Pols will circle wagons to protect one of their own until they won’t: they still have constituents to whom they report. Also, when someone falls this far this fast with no one defense, it tells me that he has a very powerful enemy somewhere. Can he rescue himself?  Maybe, but the winds have so changed; Biden has had two significant wing men: Gavin Newsom and Andy Cuomo—Newsom is facing a recall and Cuomo is under massive attack.
