Anyone attached to the opponent party is intimidated, cowed.   None of these is happening:   Democrats are weak not because they are intrinsically, but because they've pursued a losing strategy.  Vanity, narcissism.  Working against themselves; have created a dynamic in which the enemy – GOP—are incentivized to fight back.  This is how show trials always fail.  Also, the unprecedented event of stripping a Congresswoman of her committee assignments.
