Morning Update: Jes Staley Granted A Reprieve Amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic

The embattled CEO of Barclays, Jes Stakey, has recieved a stay of professional execution as Barclays scrambles to keep its head above water during the pandemic.

Calls by Edward Bramson for Staley's removal have been dampened for the time being as the company tries to navigate the choppy waters caused by the global economic freeze.

The sharks were circling before the crisis and you can expect them to show back up as soon as things stabilize.

Staley might have been given a reprieve...but the question is...for how long??
