It's difficult to win championships. It sounds obvious, but sometimes we forget. We expect the Seahawks to be there every year, but as good as they've been, they've still only won one. Tara VanDerveer is one of the elite coaches in women's basketball with over 1,100 career wins, but she hasn't won one in over two decades. If Gonzaga falls short tonight, there will be a lot of criticism, but it just isn't that easy to win a championship, no matter who you are, or how talented you may be. Nonetheless, Gonzaga can win it all, but they have to take down the other great power in college basketball this season, the Baylor Bears.
