We've been waiting for a last-minute blockbuster trade, but as the deadline passes, it doesn't seem as though we're going to get one. The week went from a high point following one of the best regular season wins in franchise history, to an immediate gut punch following the trade of Kendall Graveman. As all of the other wild card contenders got better, the Mariners again seem to be placing their hopes in next season. As disappointing as this all is, could it have been the right move?
