It's been debated since the start of the playoff format, but if there was ever a year to expand the College Football Playoffs from four to eight teams, this would have been the year to do it. For one, it's 2020 and everything is a big experiment anyway, but for another, the sport could have easily used the extra cash, and if anything brings in more cash, it's meaningful extra games. The Athletic's Nicole Auerbach joins the show to take a more in-depth look at the playoff committee's decision-making. It seems that no matter what happens, it's the same teams topping the rankings every year, and even with all of the craziness, 2020 hasn't been much different.
