Furness H1 - Super Bowl LV: Bucs win 31-9 / Daily Power Play / Remembering Pedro Gomez

Well it's over. Football season comes to a close with a Super Bowl that wasn't particularly exciting, complete with yet another championship for Brady and Gronk. It's not easy to win a Super Bowl, and everything has to fall into place, which is what happened for Tampa who ended the regular season as the 5 seed with few expectations of making it this far. There are off-the-field issues that are undoubtedly distracting Andy Reid and the Chiefs, and it just seemed like their offense couldn't adjust to the Bucs' defense. If a player like Mahomes can have a game like that, it should make Seahawks fans recognize that we're doing just fine with Russ, despite some of his bad games. The Canucks could be fringe their coach, more hockey games are being cancelled because of COVID, but there are still highlights from the NHL weekend to play on today's Power Play. ESPN reporter Pedro Gomez passed away suddenly yesterday. By all accounts, he was one of the good guys in the business, and we take a few minutes to remember him.
