The Mariners lost the opening game against the Angels last night. Yes, Ohtani was pitching, and Mike Trout did what Mike Trout does, but Seattle should still be able to beat this team. If the Mariners go 1-3 (or even worse, get swept) this weekend, something will have to change on Monday. Yesterday we found out that Seattle will host World Cup matches in 2026.
