Matt Chazanow, Voice of the Cougars says it's a no brainer for San Diego State to join the Pac-12, especially considering what they've done in basketball of late. He says it simply fits. Should Pac-12 fans be concerned? Chazanow says there's a lot of precedent set in the past when it comes to conference realignment. He still thinks there's a lot of juice in the Pacific NW and doesn't see things change in that sense. When it comes to Washington State, he's extremely happy that Kirk Schulz is the President, specifically because he understands the landscape and is extremely proactive. David James, KUTV and The Zone says SDSU's intention to leave the Mountain West while applying for an extension shows that the Pac-12 media deal isn't going to happen in June.
