Katherine Stokes
Katherine is the executive director of the West Texas Energy Consortium. She has enjoyed a 24+ year career in the health & public safety sector, higher education sector and energy sector. She grew up in a family full of well drillers, with her dad and his four brothers each owning their own drilling corporation covering Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and parts of Wyoming. The brothers got their start in the Permian and after spending their lives growing up, starting families and building careers in Texas decided to branch out.
It is her commitment to energy, economic development, education and workforce that has made a lasting impact. She is married with two children; a junior in college and a senior in high school.

Kristen Cartmill
Communications specialist at R&D Pipe Company in Spring, Texas, Kristen works at the national level to share the values, principles, rigors and lifestyle of oil professionals. Her passion is to promote the oil and gas industry, US production. While she performs her communications responsibilities at R&D, she lends her social media skills to #talktexasoil and their projects.
