The coronavirus pandemic has led to a global rise in domestic violence and other crimes. Researchers say there is a correlation between economic upheaval and an increase in abusive behaviors at home. FOX’s Trey Yingst speaks with Dr. John DeCarlo, associate professor and the director of the Criminal Justice master’s program at the University of New Haven, on what resources are available for victims of domestic violence in the midst of coronavirus lockdown orders.
